Hidden secrects of Vietnamese Food & Culture

10

The first leg of our trip first took place at a small restaurant owned by a women who specialised in making steamed pork & mushroom spring rolls. We made the spring rolls ourselves which was both a difficult but amusing task. The spring rolls were very delicious and one of the best we had eaten.

When then moved on to a different restaurant where we made pork and lemongrass skewers amd the famous Vietnamese egg coffee. This coffee was very tasty and one for children as well as it was sweet and simple. The skewers worked perfectly with a sweet chilly sauce and the combination of pork and lemongrass was very tasty.

Overall the trip is one for anybody to do. It lets you uncover the hidden secrets and stories behind the food which you are eating. We will be taking many of the things we learnt on the tour back to a home kitchen were we can enjoy them when we want to.
